Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Yolkii Shopify app and the Yolkii production management web application (together, "Yolkii"). By installing the app or using the web application, you ("Artist" or "you") agree to these Terms.
1. Service description
Yolkii is a print production management platform for artists. It connects to your Shopify store, imports orders for print production, assists with fulfillment workflow, generates carrier shipping labels, and sends fulfilment updates back to Shopify. It is provided as a software-as-a-service.
2. Your account and responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Yolkii account credentials.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the artwork catalogue you configure in Yolkii.
- You must comply with Shopify's Terms of Service in your use of the connected Shopify store.
- You must have the legal right to sell the print products you list.
- You are responsible for the tax, shipping, and compliance obligations arising from your sales.
3. Data handling
Yolkii's collection, use, storage, and deletion of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Data Processing Agreement. You appoint Yolkii as your data processor for end-customer personal data received via the Shopify connection.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Yolkii to:
- Violate any law or regulation, including intellectual property, privacy, or export control laws.
- Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt Yolkii's infrastructure.
- Attempt to access data belonging to other artists.
- Circumvent security or rate-limiting measures.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise redistribute Yolkii access to third parties without written permission.
6. Intellectual property
You retain all rights to your artwork, product catalogue, order data, and any other content you upload to or generate within Yolkii. Yolkii retains all rights to the software, algorithms, user interfaces, and infrastructure of the service itself.
7. Termination
You may terminate your use of Yolkii at any time by uninstalling the Shopify app and requesting deletion of your Yolkii account. On termination:
- Yolkii will stop syncing new orders from your Shopify store immediately.
- You may request export of your catalogue and historical order data before deletion.
- Personal data of your customers will be redacted per our data retention policy.
- Order shells and business records will be retained for the tax retention period (7 years).
Yolkii may suspend or terminate your access with reasonable notice if you materially breach these Terms or if the service is discontinued.
8. Warranty disclaimer
Yolkii is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yolkii's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Yolkii will not exceed AUD $1,000. Yolkii is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria, Australia.
11. Changes to these Terms
Yolkii may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Yolkii after a change constitutes acceptance.
